When Nancy is surfing on a secluded beach, she finds herself on the feeding ground of a great white shark. Though she is stranded only 200 yards from shore, survival proves to be the ultimate test of wills, requiring all of Nancy's ingenuity, resourcefulness, and fortitude.

We see an injured and stranded whale. It looks badly injured with many wounds and birds hover over it. A shark slams Nancy while surfing. She falls and tears up her thigh on the corals below. We see blood in the water. She swims to the whale - and uses the wounds to climb on the creature. We see her puncture the whale wounds and make it bleed more. When the whale decides to dive, Nancy swims towards a rock exposed due to low tide.

Nancy inspects her wound - it is a deep cut. She improvises a needle and thread - and stitches it up. Later she ties up a jacket around her wound. She is in agony during the process.

Nancy tries to swim towards the buoy. When she spots the shark, she turns around and swims back in panic.

A drunk man tries swimming and stealing Nancy's surfboard. Nancy screams and tries to warn him. He is grabbed and disappears underwater. Later when he crawls back to the beach, we discover that his lower half is missing.

Two surfer arrive at the beach. Nancy tries to shout and warn them. The shark grabs one of them. The other panics and swims towards the exposed rock. Nancy tries to pull him up - but the shark grabs him too. The water turns red.

Nancy swims with a jellyfish swarm. The jellyfish sting her repeatedly. The shark attacks the jellyfish - then turns to Nancy. Nancy manages to reach the buoy - but when he tries climbing on it - the metal ladder gives way and she falls back in. She stabs the shark with the metal piece and climbs back.

The shark returns and starts ramming the buoy. Nancy fires a flare gun and hits the shark. The leaked fuel around the buoy catches fire and injures the shark. The shark bites and drags the buoy - flinging Nancy underwater. The angry shark gets entangled in metal and starts bleeding. Nancy baits the shark to attack her. The shark attacker her - but gets impaled by metal rods. Blood colors the water. Meanwhile, someone on the beach spots the dead surfer - and tries to give CPR. He then spots Nancy and rescues her.
