Soldiers hiding in the bushes fire crossbow at a group of fairies. Maleficent falls down from a tree - but fairy reinforcements arrive and attck the soldiers. In the ensuing fight, many fairies and soldiers are killed.

A major battle between fairies and the kingdom. A swarm of fairies raid the city. The city - prepared with cannons laced with crimson powder that kills fairies - kills a lot of the fairies. The fairies then split their forces and manage to reach the city. They pluck many soldiers and throw them from a height. The soldiers use swords, axes and other weapons. Some faires are caught in nets, others are killed on the ground. A bear appears and mauls many soldiers. Maleficent arrives - and starts preparing for a major attack. A tower collapses. The queen fires a crossbow at the princess - but Maleficent jumps in the path to save her. Maleficent turns to dust.
