After an earthquake, an underwater base starts collapsing. The walls give in one by one and water starts flooding in. A woman rushes to the safety room with her associate. She waits for the other crew members, but the water flow is too strong, so she decides to shut the door and lock them out. We see an explosion.

The surviving crew members reach another base. They spot many humanoid creatures and dead crew members. They silently try walking past them, but they hear them and attack. One creature slams her on the floor, then starts swallowing her whole. She uses her flare gun to shoot him from inside out - and then crawl out of the dead body.
