A helicopter malfunctions - and crashes into a party. Green lantern arrives - creates a racing track to prevent the helicopter from landing - and saves everyone in the party. We see a few collapsing structures.

The deformed doctor - Hector - attacks a few doctors with flying syringes. He flings a woman scientist against a glass wall. He uses tasers on a few guards to disable them. Green lantern arrives and tries to subdue Hector. Green lantern takes a few blows and is temporarily paralyzed. Hector uses an incinerator to burn a man alive and then flee from the scene.

Hector suspends a woman in air - with an injection next to her. Green lantern tricks Hector by giving him a malfunctioning ring - which causes Hector to get knocked out. Parallax arrives and consumes Hector. Green lantern fires a missile and Parallax retreats. Parallax then turns to the city - sweeping the streets - and killing many on the streets. We see them turn to a skeleton before getting sucked by Parallax. Green lantern lures Parallax into space - and gets him into range of the sun. The sun sucks Parallax in killing him, while Green lantern is saved.
