Following the events at home, the Abbott family now face the terrors of the outside world. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

A car flips after crashing. We see other vehicles crash as the drivers are attacked and killed by the creatures. A creature then attacks a room full of hiding people - and kills may of them.
We see a house on fire. We see dismembered body parts of the creature.

The boy gets trapped in an animal trap. He screams in agony as the trap cuts into his bone. A creature hears the scream and charges at the group - but is shot dead (blood spatter).

A group captures a duo - grabs the girl and ties up the guy with a noose. A creature attacks and kills many of them - allowing the captured duo to escape. A boy starts hyperventilating due to lack of oxygen and almost passes out. A man is stabbed in the thigh. We see blood in water.

Creatures attack the camp and kill nay unsuspecting people. We see other with injuries to the leg, arms and torso. A creature is struck on the head then shot dead.
During a sports game, the spectators see a giant fireball in the sky.
