At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers.

We see a few dead and decomposing horses. As the two soldiers walk deeper into enemy territory - we starts seeing decomposing dead corpses in the marshy land, some corpses stuck on the barbed wire. One of them accidentally slips his hand in a dead soldier's body.

The soldiers witness a dogfight - with the enemy plane go down. The crashing plane turns and crashes just a few feet from them. One of them drags the injured pilot from the burning plane. As the other goes to fetch water - the injured pilot stabs the soldier. The first soldier shoots the pilot dead. The stabbed man collapses - we see blood on shirt - and starts crying. Later he dies. His teammate buries the corpse.

A soldier crossing a broken bridge is shot upon. He takes cover and fires back. We see some explosions. A building is on fire. The soldier hides in a basement.
1:20:00 — 1:25:00
The soldier leaves the basement. He soon encounters an enemy soldier. He draws a knife - and engage in hand to hand combat. He chokes the enemy dead. He then runs through enemy fire. He jumps in a river - and struggles to stay afloat in the rapids.
1:43:20 — 1:45:00
We see the casualty area. We see soldiers with missing limbs, open wounds and other injuries. Some of them are heard screaming in pain.
We see a dead body.
